Houston flight diverted due to disruptive passenger

ALBUQUERQUE, NM Airport spokesman Dan Jiron says an individual on board the aircraft Wednesday morning appeared to be suicidal, so the crew diverted to Albuquerque. The FBI would not confirm if the passenger, a man, was suicidal.

Airline spokeswoman Christen David says flight 1576 had 133 passengers and six crew members on board.

The Boeing 737-800 continued to Houston after the man was taken into custody by Albuquerque's aviation police and FBI agents conducted interviews.

FBI spokesman Frank Fisher says there were no injuries and passengers were not in any danger.
