Police say the rider was going nearly 100 miles per hour. He eventually crashed and tried to take off on foot but an HPD chopper spotted the man, leading to his arrest. The second motorcyclist got away.
Motorcyclist leads police on high-speed chase
HOUSTON
The chase started after police spotted two motorcycles racing on the North Freeway near the North Loop. Police went after just one of the riders, following him onto Highway 290, back to I-45, and then onto McGallon at Cliffside.
