Authorities seek info in death of Galena Park man

Thursday marks the one-year anniversary of the disappearance of Salvador Rojas, 49, from his Galena Park home.

Authorities are searching for any information in the death of a Galena Park man one year ago. Thursday marks the one year anniversary of the disappearance of Salvador Rojas, 49, who was last seen May 6, 2009 driving his gray Volkswagen Jetta. Rojas was reported missing from his Galena Park home May 7, 2009 by family members. His body was discovered May 9 around 11am in the trunk of his car in Pasadena. He had died of a single gunshot wound.

Rojas was last seen alive between 7pm and 8pm on the evening of May 6, 2009 near the 8000 block of Park Place and I-45. At the time, he was wearing a pink Polo-style shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
