Firefighters were able to put out the fire without problems, but once they went inside, they found the bodies of a man and a woman, both appearing to be in their 50s.
"Right now, what we're doing is gathering information, conducting our initial investigation to determine the cause of the fire so we can move forward with the overall investigation," said Lt. Mitch Weston with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is treating this as a crime scene until investigators can figure out what happened at the home.
