The man shot the business owner in the abdomen and then ran off. The woman was not hurt. Deputies are not saying if the shooter got away with any money.
The victim was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is expected to survive.
Pizza owner shot during attempted robbery
THE WOODLANDS, TX
That shooting happened at the Parkside apartments in The Woodlands around 9:30pm. Sheriff's deputies say one of the owners of Brothers Pizza and a female friend pulled into the parking lot of the Parkside Apartments when a man approached him and demanded money.
