Police need help to solve murder case

Crime Stoppers and Houston police need your help to solve a murder. Back on June 24, police say Devarek Joseph, 29, met with two men in a parking lot of an apartment complex at 2929 Crossview Drive in west Houston. One of the men with whom Joseph met reportedly pulled out a gun and fatally shot him.

Police say the suspects then fled the scene in a silver car with a black convertible top, possibly an older model Mitsubishi. The suspects crashed their car into the exit gate of the apartment complex attempting to open it, resulting in damage to the right front side.

The suspects are only described as a young Black male and a young Hispanic male.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of the any of the suspects in this case. Tips can also be sent by text message - Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
