In a 34-31 win over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday, Schaub completed 25-of-39 passes for 357 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions, good for a passer rating of 127.8. His four TD passes set a career high and tied a franchise record.

Schaub is the first Texan to win the award this season and the first offensive player to win the award twice in his Texans career. He won the award in Week 14 of the 2008 campaign when he threw for a career-high and franchise record 414 yards in a win over the Green Bay Packers on December 7, 2008.
