Police: Man hid human remains

CINCINNATI, OH A judge ordered John Strutz of Delhi Township held on more than $1 million bond.

Strutz's attorney, Simon Groner, says his client couldn't find his wife, Kristan Strutz, on Saturday and called police after checking with a relative who also didn't know where she was. Groner said Strutz, 30, gave police permission to search his home, and that as far as he knew, the only items seized were several bottles of bleach.

Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor Betsy Sundermann said in court that Strutz concealed human remains but gave no other information.

Groner had asked for a low bond because the couple has young children, but authorities persuaded Municipal Court Judge Lisa Allen to set a high bond while they continue the investigation.

Delhi Township police referred calls Monday to the prosecutor's office, where spokeswoman Julie Wilson said there was no further information for release.
