Jail records indicate the older girl spent 10 days in jail before her July 20 release. She told police her name was Patrice Washington, and that she was 20.
The Dallas Morning News reported Monday that the 14-year-old's true last name was revealed over the weekend when the younger girl told police her accomplice's identity. Investigators discovered Saturday that the 14-year-old had been in a Dallas County juvenile facility under her real name since Thursday.
