Man accused of arson in apartment fire

HOUSTON The three-alarm fire at the Fairfield Cove apartment complex started on Saturday morning. All 32 units in the building suffered major damage, totaling around $3 million. Investigators say it started in the unit being rented by Samuel Marcus Bumper.

In exclusive ABC13 video of Bumper being taken into custody at the scene, angry residents lashed out at him.

"I wanna know what you did. You took my son's home from him. You did. You took everything we had," said fire victim Patty Garcia.

Managers say none of the families who were displaced had renters insurance. They have since been moved into other apartments at the complex.

Bumper is being held at the Harris County Jail.
