While here, Charles Gibson will take a look at how Houston has been relatively well-insulated from the economic downturn gripping so much of the nation. Gibson will look at why Texas has been one of the last regions in the country to feel the painful effects of the recession.

He will also get an inside look at NASA's Johnson Space Center, which is in the midst of overseeing the Space Shuttle Discovery's latest mission to the International Space Station. What is the future of the space program in light of the country's current economic woes?

Additionally on Tuesday evening, Gibson will interview Apollo astronauts Captain Alan L. Bean, Captain Gene Cernan, Captain James A. Lovell, Jr., and Colonel Buzz Aldrin, part of "An Evening with Texas Legends" benefitting the Texas Children's Cancer Center. The event will celebrate the Apollo Program and the upcoming 40th anniversary of man's landing on the moon.

On Tuesday night, ABC News will broadcast live coverage of President Obama's press conference beginning at 7pm. Gibson will anchor this special coverage from Houston. He will be joined by Chief Washington Correspondent and host of "This Week" George Stephanopoulos and Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper.

You can catch World News with Charles Gibson live from Houston right after Eyewitness News Live at 5 Monday and Tuesday.
