Police discovered the bodies after responding to a suspicious vehicle call in a shopping center off the Gulf Freeway near Fuqua late last night. One man was found dead in the back seat, the other in the trunk.

Police are trying to determine if there is a link between two men reported missing from far southwest Houston and those two men found dead.

The two men reported missing, Deandre Goodson, 23, and Joey Bivens, 19, were last seen together in the Quail Glenn subdivision on Monday night. Meantime, the car found last night in southeast Houston was traced back to Bivens.

Neither of the bodies had identification and are now undergoing autopsies.

"We'll wait to see what the ME comes up with and follow up any leads as soon as we get identification on them," said David Gunter with the Houston Police Department.

Homicide investigators will be back out at the scene in the southeast Houston, trying to go to businesses to see if there is any surveillance video that will help them in their investigation.
