It happened just after 1am near the exit ramp to the West Loop. According to officers, three people were shot inside a white Impala by someone in a 1993 Toyota minivan. P> The three people who were hit were transported to local hospital. It's believed they will all be OK.
The suspect's vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on the Loop. He has not been apprehended.
The freeway was closed for several hours for the investigation and it has since reopened.
