Last night, they held a meeting at a community club house to talk about the crime surge.
People asked a lot of questions and discussed how they have changed their routines because of the recent violence. Some say they can't be as trusting as they used to be.
"My husband works at home. I am work at home too. So we're just open...the garage is open," said concerned resident Kathleen Stross. "If the neighbor wants to borrow a scooter they cannot any more."
"We're actually going to start a crime watch program in our little subdivision," said resident Charles Gavert.
The Brazoria County sheriff's office says this is the worst crime in the area in a decade.
