Council members voted yesterday to clean up messy yards by passing a parking ordinance, which bans parking on lawns . The city council says it gets a lot of complaints about boats, trailers and old cars parked in yards. People think that the situation can lower property values.
In order to get a yard parking ban, civic associations and neighborhoods will have to apply.
