Two women attacked at Sharpstown Mall

HOUSTON Officers picked out the man from surveillance pictures at ATM's, and through purchases made on the first victims' stolen credit card. Investigators say both female victims had their purses and vehicles stolen at Sharpstown Mall.

The first victim was stabbed and punched. She's out of the hospital. The second victim, Angel Roberts, remains in critical condition.

Police say she was stabbed Tuesday evening, after her attacker held the door open for her.

"It was just merciless," Rodan Roberts, a brother to one of the victims. "You had the purse you had the car. Why continue to do that?"

When Eyewitness News went to the mall to get answers, security escorted us out of the building. The mall has yet to release any type of statement.
