HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two Yates high school students are facing charges for having a loaded gun on campus.

Davante Henderson, 18, and Roger Jack, 19, are both charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

According to court documents, on Friday, a school administrator got a tip that a student had the gun with him. The principal found the student, identified as Henderson, pulled him into a classroom and questioned him about the gun.

The principal said Henderson left the classroom without answering.

The principal followed Henderson, when in the hall, reportedly passed an object to Jack, another student, and then took off on foot.

School officials were able to track down Jack, who told them he had a gun in his waistband.

Both Jack and Henderson were arrested. Bail is set at $5,000. At this point, investigators don't know what intention either student may have had.
