Five-vehicle accident closes Spencer Highway in Pasadena

PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- A five-vehicle accident in Pasadena has closed the Spencer Highway eastbound and westbound.

The "Jaws of Life" equipment was used to free a driver from a gray Honda Accord amid the mangled wreck.

Three pickup trucks, a box truck and the Honda appear to be involved in the crash.

It's unknown whether anyone was hurt in the crash.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
