THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Though the outward tics associated with Tourette syndrome are noticeable, the internal struggle can't be seen in people living with the disorder.

For Reese Wilson, a soon-to-be freshman at The Woodlands High School Ninth Grade Campus, Tourette's is part of his everyday life.

Reese was chosen to be a Youth Ambassador for The National Tourette Syndrome Association and traveled to Washington, D.C., for a three-day trip of workshops and meetings. Upon returning home, he is tasked with spreading awareness and fundraising in his own school and community.
