Woman dies after being pinned by own car in school parking lot

PALMER TWP., PA -- A tragic accident in a school parking lot killed a woman in the Lehigh Valley.

It happened outside Tracy Elementary in Palmer Township Tuesday night.

Police say 61-year-old Bonny Jean Novack of Easton experienced mechanical issues with her car.

When she got out, the vehicle, which was in neutral gear, began rolling, and she could not stop it.

Novack was crushed after becoming pinned between her own vehicle and a parked car.
