DALLAS, TX -- Dallas police say a woman has been arrested in the murder-for-hire shooting death of a pediatric dentist.
Police say in a statement that 23-year-old Crystal Cortes was arrested Friday evening and faces capital murder in the Sept. 2 death of Kendra Hatcher. Thirty-one-year-old Kristopher Love faces the same charge.
Police say Love has been identified as the person who shot Hatcher in her apartment complex's parking garage. They say Cortes admitted her involvement and provided information that other unidentified suspects may have been involved.
Love was in Dallas County jail on $2.5 million bond, while Cortes is being held on a $250,000 bond. Jail records didn't list an attorney for either suspect.
A woman accused of driving the shooter to the garage was arrested earlier this month in the death.
