HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Following the injury to starting QB Brian Hoyer on Monday night, the Houston Texans have added another quarterback to their roster.
Eyewitness Sports has learned the Texans claimed Brandon Weeden off waivers.
Hoyer left Monday night's win over Cincinnati with a concussion and TJ Yates came in to finish the game.
Weeden was a starter for the Cleveland Browns, playing there in 2012 and 2013. He backed up Tony Romo in Dallas last year and then this year. He saw playing time this season when Romo went down with an injury, but was replaced by Matt Cassel.
