VIDEO: Massive tornado rips through Colorado farm land

SIMLA, CO (KTRK) -- Amazing footage captured by a Colorado meteorologist - the second of two tornadoes forming near Denver amidst an evening of weather watches.

KMGH meteorologist Matt Makens captured the massive tornado just outside of the town of Simla. It formed over pasture land just 15 minutes after the first tornado and did not pass through the town, but caused some damage to at least one farm.

Another storm chaser was caught in the midst of the second twister, and the shell on the back of his pickup truck was torn off by spinning debris on that farm.
