Gorgeous weekend weather continues, potential tropical impacts next week
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The gorgeous taste of early fall continues this weekend, though everyone across Southeast Texas should not be distracted with big changes potentially in the forecast for next week. A potential tropical system could bring impacts to the Gulf Coast including Southeast Texas, so there's a Weather Watch for Tuesday through Thursday.

What's the rest of the weekend look like?
Temperatures Saturday evening will fall from the upper 80s to upper 60s overnight. The refreshing low dewpoint temperatures are to thank for that! And the lower humidity will stay put all day Sunday, helping keep the sky clear with lots of sunshine and afternoon highs just below 90 degrees.
What are you tracking in the tropics?
In addition to the low pressure just offshore from Texas, we are also closely monitoring a tropical wave over the western Caribbean. The wave has no started to take shape in the Bay of Campeche and now has a high favorability to develop over the next 7 days. This moisture will pull north toward Texas and Louisiana to bring back higher rain chances with the possibility of flooding Tuesday through Thursday.
