HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A junior wide receiver from Manvel High School became an instant internet celebrity after a Vine post showed him heaving a Hail Mary pass, then sprinting nearly 50 yards to catch the ball (watch the clip here).

But now, a YouTube video from the Bobby Bones radio show out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is shedding some doubt of Gary Haynes' incredible feat.

Lunchbox, a member of the show, posted this YouTube clip showing how its done. If you watch it at full speed, it looks just like Haynes' clip.

So how did Lunchbox pull off the same incredible feat? He calls it a case of "trick photography."

Lunchbox says all he did was throw the ball in a way so it would land off camera, and then had his friend throw a second ball which he then caught down the street. In both his clip and Haynes video, you never see the ball the entire time.

Haynes may still get the last laugh. After all, he already received one scholarship offer to play football for the University of Houston.
