Comedian Kevin Hart and actor Dave Franco star in what might be the most over-the-top video game advertisement ever.
EA Sports released the video on Friday promoting the Xbox One's upcoming release of Madden NFL 15.
Hart fires the first slap heard across the world in what appears to be a video game rivalry only he and Franco know about. The video follows constant smack-talk and harassment by Hart, including vandalism, cheerleaders and a hired hit from Franco-seeking corner back Richard Sherman.
Franco loses his girlfriend, gets embarrassed at work and has to endure a smack-talk rap with what may be the world's simplest lyrics, courtesy of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant, Philly running back LeSean McCoy and Green Bay running back Eddie Lacy.
That's about when Franco finally snaps and becomes ultra-focused on one goal: Beating Kevin Hart in the video game.
Hart and Franco then go head-to-head in a showdown that a burning mansion can't even disrupt, all while a creepy violin-playing teddy bear plays music for a crowd of fans watching on.
The ad is definitely over the top, but it's one many hardcore Madden players can likely relate to. Madden 15 hits store shelves on August 26.
