Two people injured in plane crash in Brazoria County

BRAZORIA COUNTY -- Two people suffered minor injuries after a plane crash in Brazoria County.

DPS arrived to the crash scene near Pearland Regional Airport Saturday morning. The owner and pilot of the small plane has been identified as 61-year-old Hector Ramon. His wife, Mary, was on-board the small plane when it crashed. The couple was transported to Clear Lake Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time the cause of the accident is unknown.
