Teen arrested after allegedly threatening store clerk with machete

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teenager was arrested after allegedly threatening a store clerk with a machete.

There was an all-out manhunt for the 15-year-old Thursday near Brenwood Drive and Barker Cypress.

Witnesses say the teen tried to buy cigarettes at a Texaco and when the clerk refused to sell them to him, he left and came back with a machete, threatening to kill the clerk.

The police were called and the boy ran, ditching the machete.

He was later found and taken into custody.
