TxDOT preparing for possible dangerous conditions on Houston roads

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- With the threat of snow across the area, TxDOT is making preparations to keep everyone safe on the road.

"Right now, the biggest concern is for folks to slow down," TxDOT said.

Officials are urging people to stay home if you don't have to go out.

TXDOT is monitoring conditions and is ready to address issues if something happens. Additional crews are on standby throughout the Houston area.
