Deputies: Semi truck running red light leads to fatal crash

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Deputies say a swerving big rig ran a red light and crashed into two vehicles near George Bush Intercontinental Airport overnight.

The 18-wheeler pushed a pickup truck more than 200 feet from the intersection of FM 1960 and Kenswick. A man in that pickup was killed on impact. Two other people in that truck were taken by air and by ground to hospitals.

The sole driver in the other vehicle was taken to a hospital as well. The semi driver was not hurt.
