Car fire shuts down multiple lanes along 288 NB at Gulf Freeway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A car fire is causing big problems on the roads near downtown Houston.

It's going on along 288 northbound at the Gulf Freeway and involves two vehicles. Multiple lanes are shut down right now.

At this point, we don't have word of any injuries. We'll continue to follow this breaking story and will post any new information as we get it.
