Woman charged after head-on crash kills 1 near Tomball

TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities have charged a woman with intoxication manslaughter after a head-on wreck in the Tomball area early Sunday morning.

The crash happened at FM 2920 near Stuebner-Airline in northwest Harris County.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies say Heather Green was driving east on FM 2920 when she drove into oncoming traffic. Her SUV hit a car head-on. The driver of the car was killed.

Green was taken to the hospital by LifeFlight.

According to authorities, tests showed Green was drunk.
