26-year-old Cruz Alfredo Bazan named to Texas Most Wanted Sex Offender list

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Cruz Alfredo Bazan, 26, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list, and a cash reward up to $3,000 is now being offered for information leading to his capture.

Bazan is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and probation violation.

Authorities say Bazan has ties to the Harlingen area and Mexico, and his criminal history includes sexual assault of a child and theft. Bazan is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He has various tattoos on his right arm, chest and back.
