Cricket Wireless says that full service has been restored to customers after an extended, widespread outage on Friday.

For customers who continue to experience service interruptions, the carrier recommends fully powering down and restarting devices.

On Friday afternoon, Cricket Wireless customers took to social media to voice concerns about service outages in the Houston area and throughout the country. Some AT&T customers also reported a loss of service, although AT&T has yet to comment on interruptions to its own network:

In a statement, Cricket Wireless acknowledged and apologized for the outage, saying, "We are aware of a service issue affecting some customers & are working quickly to resolve it."

AT&T has yet to issue a public statement. In 2013, the telecom giant acquired the parent company of Cricket Wireless.
