HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A SWAT scene ended without incident in southeast Houston on Wednesday.
The scene unfolded on the 6200 block of Belmark Street in southeast Houston.
Houston police were negotiating with a suspect who they said barricaded himself in his home after threatening his neighbor with a shotgun. Investigators said there had been an incident on Tuesday in which the man was firing his gun inside his house, but a bullet went into the neighbor's home.
Authorities were called to the scene around 4 p.m., and the suspect surrendered around 7 p.m.
No other details have been released.
