SUV slams into toll booth with worker inside

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An employee was inside a toll booth at a north Houston plaza when an SUV plowed into the structure.

The crash happened around 8am at the North Sam Houston Toll Plaza at Veterans Memorial.

The Harris County Toll Road Authority tells us the employee who was inside suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say the driver was ticketed for suspicion of DUI.
