This past weekend, I got to judge the Citizens for Animal Protection "Art for Animals" Kids Pet Art Contest.
My fellow judges Nancy Hoffman, artist Kermit Eisenhut I had a tough job: trying to choose a winner from hundreds of entries from area students.
My little girl Winnie loves animals, so I took her along to see the art & to visit with the adoptable animals at CAP. (I'm still not sure how we got back home without adopting a kitten or guinea pig!)
The students were asked to create art that showed their love of pets, promoted animal wellness or encouraged pet adoption.
