HISD: Teen student arrested after threatening to use gun

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teenage student has been arrested for allegedly threatening to use a gun at teachers and fellow students at Booker T. Washington High School, according to HISD.

Dabic Santana, 17, was arrested Friday and charged with exhibition of a firearm after reportedly verbally threatening his teacher and peers.

HISD police were notified immediately and the student was detained and searched. No weapons were found.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office says the student will also face appropriate disciplinary action.
