2 hospitalized in major crash on US 90 in NE Harris County, HCSO says
Deputies said a driver and his passenger were hurt in the two-vehicle wreck.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A driver and his passenger are in the hospital following a major crash on Highway 90 on Tuesday morning, according to deputies.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said it responded to the two-vehicle wreck in the 5400 block of US 90 at the intersection of Lindstrom Road.
Deputies said someone in a white 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ran a stop sign at the intersection and hit the back of a white 2015 Ram 1500.
The impact caused the Ram truck to veer into a grassy area and hit a light pole, HCSO said. Its driver, identified as Seth Garcia, was flown to the hospital.
His passenger was reportedly also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office said the Chevrolet truck driver initially fled the scene and drove home, but he was eventually located and later cooperated with police.
