Man found dead in wooded area near Spring park

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a body found in Spring.

The person was found dead in the 3800 block of Reynaldo Drive around 12:30 p.m.

Authorities were originally called to investigate a missing person report, but homicide investigators were later called to the scene after a male's body was found in a wooded area that backs up to Sandpiper Park.

No other details have been released.
