Man charged after Spring family terrorized in home invasion

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- A man is now charged in a robbery Monday in which a gunman terrorized a Spring family in their own home.

Sean J. Robbins, 28, was arrested and is now charged with aggravated robbery and burglary.

The charges come after a Spring family says a man walked into their home in the 20900 block of Imperial Ridge Lane and started taking things.

A woman and her children had just returned home from school and she screamed as the gunman threatened them as he removed things from their house.

One of her boys was able to get away and ran across the street for help.

A neighbor with a gun rushed over, fired several shots at the robber, but the robber got away.

Sky Eye spotted one man in handcuffs just blocks away from the scene. Constables wouldn't say if that's the gunman. It's unclear if that person was Robbins.
