Westfield outlasts Klein Collins, hands Tigers first loss

SPRING, TX -- Westfield took down previously undefeated Klein Collins 28-17 on Friday evening at Memorial Stadium, improving to 3-0 in District 15-6A play.

The Mustangs (5-1 overall) struck first when Latevius Downs scored on a 67-yard pass from Dillon Sterling-Cole midway through the first quarter.

Klein Collins answered with six and a half minutes remaining in the first half when Collin Lester nailed a 28-yard field goal.
