HOUSTON, Texas -- If you're in need of a Houston Rockets jersey, the time is now to get a NikeConnect jersey.
Through an embedded NFC (near field communication) chip in the jersey, fans can unlock exclusive Rockets and player content through the NikeConnect smartphone app. According to Nike, rewards can also be unlocked which include NBA 2K18 boosts, tickets to games and Spotify playlists from athletes.
The new jersey's are priced at $109.99 and are available online at the Houston Rockets Team Shop.
