HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston Texans star JJ Watt hit one of many milestones in his recovery, just a few months since his season-ending injury.
Watt shared a video in his Instagram stories Tuesday showing himself walking on a treadmill with the caption "Big day #FirstSteps."
Watt fractured his left tibia during the Sunday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs in October, which was a season-ending injury. He was hurt while being blocked midway through the first quarter and fell to the ground.
Since then, Watt has been sharing videos on social media of his recovery along with Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson, who tore his ACL during practice.
Watt has been seen on crutches, throwing out the first pitch during one of the World Series games and attending Andre Johnson's Ring of Honor ceremony on Nov. 19.
