CROSBY, TX -- The Cougars held off a pesky Wildcat team, which had a chance to tie the game late, to earn a 17-10 win at Turner Stadium on Thursday.
"We got the win tonight and that's the most important thing," Crosby coach Jeff Riordan said. "Our defense played lights out. Our offense had little execution things that kept us from scoring and having a bigger night than we had."
After leading 17-3 heading into the fourth quarter, the Cougars saw its lead shrink to 17-10 with a 27-yard touchdown by Humble running back Terio Brown in the opening moments of the stanza.
