HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Metro Chairman Gilbert Garcia discusses Metro's new bus network, scheduled to go in effect in August.

The new plan would eliminate the need for some buses to travel to downtown Houston before heading to their final destinations. Garcia says it will result in a more efficient bus system.
