Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo kicks off

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- Gates are now open for the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo! As many as 5,000 people are expected to show up for all the fun.

It's free to get on the grounds, and tickets cost $20 to get in the gate.

Josh Ward is set to perform on Friday night, and the parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Because of Hurricane Harvey, the barbecue cook-off has been moved to Oct. 26-28.
