DARWIN, Australia (KTRK) -- There are few things that will bring a newsroom to a stop, but a snake is one of them.

A huge snake was spotted in an Australian newsroom.

A cameraman was sitting at his desk when he spotted the snake.

The station's program manager didn't wait for a professional.

She grabbed a coat hanger and a shopping bag and removed the snake.

The snake was then released into the bushes.
