SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are investigating an apparent road rage turned violent Thursday afternoon in Spring.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, several eyewitnesses called 911 reporting hearing gunshots near I-45 and Louetta.

The driver of the car with visible gunshots told investigators that another driver tried to cut him off at a stop sign on FM 2920. He refused to let the vehicle over, which resulted in some sort of argument.

Following the argument, he told deputies that the driver of the car fired shots at his vehicle.

Investigators are looking for the suspect driving a 2013 Chevy Impala.
