Sir Mix-A-Lot performs "Baby Got Back" with Seattle Symphony Orchestra

SEATTLE, WA (KTRK) -- Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" is an old classic with a new sound - a classical sound.

The singer recently performed the '90s favorite with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the result is YouTube sensation.

Women from the audience joined him onstage for the song. It was part of the Sonic Evolution Project. Every year the symphony hires a composer to write orchestral pieces inspired by popular artists with ties to Seattle.

They also performed an orchestral "Posse on Broadway."
